Training Providers

If you are a training provider who is not already delivering Train to Gain in London then you are now able to apply for Regional Response funding for this region. This funding will based upon employer demand. Before you approach the LSC for funding, the training must be agreed with the employer with the learners ready and waiting.

The region can also now accept Regional Response applications for the Apprenticeship programme for the following streams: 16 - 19 and 19+.

Train to Gain Regional Response funds are designed to meet employer-generated demand and reflect regional skills priorities in the London Region. Any application for the regional response funding needs to demonstrate clear links with identified employers and requirements for the workforce.

The following criteria will apply to be eligible for funding:

a. The training should cater to niche sector gaps that are not currently being delivered within the region. Providers will be identified by the Skills Brokerage organisations or sector compacts; or

b. Where a provider has achieved the Training Quality Standard.

The process will feature two parts. An Expression of Interest (a pre-application document which outlines the details of the business, number of learners, qualifications required and any other key aspects of the funding). A broker will then verify this before you are sent the full application to complete and upload.
